i have aussies f&r on the zuk, dunno whats in the 4runner, and i think i had a lockrite in my old samurai. the only times i wish i had arb style lockers are in the front of timmy while on the trails and trying to do like a 10pt turn in the mud.

other than thw noise and occasional pop when thw diff unloads it drives just like it should. icey or wet conditions when making sharp turns can get sideways if you use too much throttle.

really tho i dont notice anything that i would tell somebody they arent really that good on a d.d... could be i dont know to look for or that they are just regurgitating comments theyve seen other people make. ;)

of course i wouldnt turn down an arb setup over a locker... dont forget toyota also made electronic locking diffs for the last of the real landcruisers.

I'm going to start a project for myself.. I saw this truck and fell in love so, this is what i'm after. Pretty simple setup to get it to this point then we'll see where it goes from there.

I quick took another look at the rules and all I saw for extra axles was for scale points. Are you guys building your multi-axle rigs to fit in a class? I was wanting to set it up on 1.9's like the one pictured. I have body set, wheels/tires & scx10 chassis/drivetrain. I just need an extra axle.

They still do. They put them on the Tacoma and the FJ Cruiser. They come with the TRD Off Road package. That package isn't offered on the double cab long beds though and I can't fit a motorcycle in the short bed. I guess Toyota thought the wheelbase was too long for an off-roader.

i was gonna do an ar60 but sold my framerails to john. if i decide to make one again it'll be either scx or tlt based and probably c1 or c2 sized in respect to tires.
