Well a month is kinda a while? Guess if we all don't just sit around and talk about it we can get it done.

Do you have a date in mind to get this storage done?

I hope the guy from rc adventures buys a new axial scx10 II 2000 and does a verses video against his vaterra asecender. I would love to see which is the better crawler even though axial stole ideas from vaterra.

Sometimes I read something that's just not worth replying to . Usually it's the same guy over and over.

I bought a video game recently. It is called rc simulation 2.0 and it is on steam. it is a pc game. there is even rock crawlers on it, you can play your friends online on multiplayer and you can even make your own courses and tracks if you want. It was only $14.99 for the video game. you can tune the rc land vehicals to. they have planes , quadcopters and boats on it also. it would be cool if all nirc members got that game and had rock crawling competions online with it. ha, ha.

nirc pro tip -

you can pay 12 bucks for 4oz, or 8 bucks for 16oz... ;)

seems to be the same chit, assuming the copy and paste job of the product descriptor.

Serious question. Is that stuff really worth it? Does it tack to the gears and lubricate that well? I've always used marine or axle grease for cars because I have it. All grease is waterproof. I know a few of those sell points are worded in there thatre common sense to hook in people who don't realize it.

i think for rc cars grease is grease... i was just pointing out a much cheaper way to get some decent grease.

i myself used the cheap cheap green marine grease for years and never had a problem. only real reason i run grease anyway is to pack the axlecases around the bearings so water cant get in.

Oh no nothing against you or it. Just wondered if my thoughts were right and you just stated my exact usage of the green marine grease. Always been fine. I've voiced that opinion and experience on Facebook just to be of course flamed by some yokel fanboy who "knew it all". But that's if you voice anything on Facebook. If it was on the sale counter for a couple bucks I'd try it. Bout it.

it was a post on fb that led me to hunt for the original product. and its either belray waterproof grease or whoever did the label felt it was ok to copy and paste belrays product descriptor and add a couple words.

not dissing the repackaging, i respect the hustle so im only posting what ive found here.

I saw a axial scx10 II kit vs vaterra ascender rtr video on youtube a few days ago. The only thing I seen that was better about the scx10 II kit was it had a 1/2 more ground clearence than the vaterra scender rtr did. the scx10 II kit was able to climb over a big rock that the vaterra ascender couldn't.
