So I've been thinking of trying a new motor in Hera.

I'd like a little more power than melons has with the pro4 3300/3s.

I'm using the kv x volts to get rpm (?)

KV________Volts______RPM
Pro4 3300 x 11.1 = 36,630 (current Melons setup)

P4HD 2500 x 14.8 = 37,000

P4HD 3000 x 14.8 = 44,400
P4HD 3000 x 11.1 = 33,300
(Thinking of going with the Pro4HD 3000kv. 3s most of the time, 4s sled pull & mud pits)

For reference. The castle 5700 has a max rpm of 100k. So.
No melons does not turn 101k.

That would be silly fast. Way faster than a velineon traxxas

i have the 3000kv pro4 hd for the yeti, just started waterproofing it last night. kinda thinking i'll put it in timmy instead.

I had the Pro4 4000 in Hera but I had a lower gear ratio with the Summit trans... going to be Axial gear ratio now.

I haven't gone anywhere...I did spend a week and a half down there. My grandfather died so I went to the funeral, went to a wedding the next day and then did Thanksgiving and hunting stuff. It was like sunny and 75 the whole time. Other than that I've just been working a lot.

I did get a new "hop-up" for my rig! It's a 3 Racing with a HeyOk controller...yep.

No kong is my c3 rig...thats getting hd power after ecsc and seeing a full pull bye one guy I had to ask what he had in it ..pro4 hd baby
no name for 6x6 yet ...
but 6x6 will probably get a brxl and that puller motor i just picked up for now yeti also has a rx8 that will need a new home and a t8 low kv truggy motor would probably pull better then a brushed puller motor but I'd like to see it 1st to compare

if i didnt get a full pull at escs i got damn close with just a puny regular ol' pro4 3300 on 3s. i get that the hd got a little more grunt and it couldnt hurt, but the normal pro4s have enough grunt to break diff gears and diff bearings on command.
