DL, do you think my C2 Ford will be ready for spring? Maybe... that's a BIG MAYBE, I could run Melons (og body) as a C1... I doubt I'll do that but maybe. I really want to build a 35 Ford flatbed for C1... that would be too cool Last edited by johnnyh66; 02-22-2012 at 04:59 PM. |

I'm not doin a TF2 unless you mean Team Fortress 2. Then yeah I'll probably do that. I've got a C1 ish rig planned but at this time it is underfunded and will not be started till my wraiths are "DONE"! ok probably won't have one by spring LOL

I plan on running my Hilux Class 1, Unimog Class 2. Class 3 will kinda depend on where I am at.

my only real complaint about our rules and thing i would like to deviate from is the tire choices/restrictions for each class. i fail to see why cut and shut versions of legal tires are not allowed. or why its advertised size instead of actual size. before rc4wd's new compound it was at least a trade off between a hard and big rc4wd and a smaller but much more sticky tsl or pitbull. but you all know how i feel already... i voted to keep the rules and i will follow them, just sucks to not be able to cut and shut some proline tsl 2.2's to 1.9's. god dang that would be a killer tire. consider that the gcm is proven to handle power... i'm hoping for the best from rc4wd but i wouldnt put alot of faith in the rc4wd transfer case holding up like the gcm. |

are you guys going to run the 1.55 wheels or 1.9's? I'm thinking about making an aluminum wheel face that will replace the front face of the rc4wd steel wheels and just bolt on in place of that. I have the 1.9's to get measurements and I'll have the 1.5's when my TF2 gets here. I'm going to play around with that idea and see what happens. |

What do you guys think about the Dinky split skid? I believe it uses Axial trans gears... which means Robinson Racing |

I think the dinky split skid could handle some power. the gcm can handle some power and the rc4wd tf2 case looks pretty damn beefy. we'll see.. I'll probably keep in on the C1 because its the most scale looking.

Do these count as metal sliders? Sliders are in the tube accessories section of the scale rules and these aren't really tube. And what about the dinky cargo box? Is that a drop bed? Last edited by JHTreyIII; 02-22-2012 at 09:26 PM. |
