Sorry man, the only people getting hired here are account managers... and they're on a freelance basis.
Now days, I think most employed artist are just happy to be employed.

On a related note (preparing for my own possible layoff), I finally bought the last parts to get my new workstation running... gonna start the build Saturday. Once it's running, I'll just need to come up with another $700 for the graphics card and I'll be all set... well, and then another $3,500 for Maya and $700 for Photoshop
I may need some help from Captian Jack Sparrow!

stability... I don't know exactly but it seems Autodesk builds it's software around the Quadro architecture, or something like that...
All I know is the damn software crashes on just about anything except a Quadro card... I'm going to have to research that more before buying though.

So don't use autodesk... I've always seen that the Quadro cards are underspec'd and overpriced; so there has to be something they are doing that makes them better for 'CAD workstations' than the better spec'd 'consumer cards'.

I wish... that's like saying, don't use Axial.
I used to run Newtek's LightWave (the original powerhouse) and then Modo (when I worked for myself)... but most companies today run either 3D Max or Maya... both owned by Autodesk. They even bought Soft Image (was a competitor) and changed it around so now it complament Maya and Max as opposed to competing with them.

Ladies! Check out what Johnny did for me! I got a new head unit in my truck and Johnny helped me with the image type I needed to change the boot screen. Turned out sweet! Now instead of the goofy Kenwood logo when I start the truck, I get this...Thanks Johnny!!!

Since there are a couple of you artistic types, why don't you see what you can come up with for a Club Logo, the one I did is pretty lame though I don't feel too bad as I only spent about 30 minutes on it.

I'm not sure what exactly you mean here... The VP and HR work better than the Axial or Dinky? I know the Dinky requires a CMS...

Video intro? Like when we take video's of the TTC we can put your intro at the beginning of each video? that'll be cool.

I'm not coming up with anything creative right now so, I'll let you know if anything comes to me.
