Now days, I think most employed artist are just happy to be employed. On a related note (preparing for my own possible layoff), I finally bought the last parts to get my new workstation running... gonna start the build Saturday. Once it's running, I'll just need to come up with another $700 for the graphics card and I'll be all set... well, and then another $3,500 for Maya and $700 for Photoshop I may need some help from Captian Jack Sparrow! | |

| Re: NIRC. Chit Chat stability... I don't know exactly but it seems Autodesk builds it's software around the Quadro architecture, or something like that... All I know is the damn software crashes on just about anything except a Quadro card... I'm going to have to research that more before buying though. |

| Re: NIRC. Chit Chat I wish... that's like saying, don't use Axial. I used to run Newtek's LightWave (the original powerhouse) and then Modo (when I worked for myself)... but most companies today run either 3D Max or Maya... both owned by Autodesk. They even bought Soft Image (was a competitor) and changed it around so now it complament Maya and Max as opposed to competing with them. |

Ladies! Check out what Johnny did for me! I got a new head unit in my truck and Johnny helped me with the image type I needed to change the boot screen. Turned out sweet! Now instead of the goofy Kenwood logo when I start the truck, I get this...Thanks Johnny!!! |

Since there are a couple of you artistic types, why don't you see what you can come up with for a Club Logo, the one I did is pretty lame though I don't feel too bad as I only spent about 30 minutes on it.
