I'm not sure if those would pass as a slider.. looks more like a boat side.

If it was my dinky cargo box, I would take the points

Not sure how they would score that plate, the couple rigs I have that used plate, it was set between the tubes. But it is a good question because I am thinking of making rail sliders instead of tube and the rule seem to be fixated on tubing.

I am game for calling the Dinky box a drop bed.

They, those look like boat sides. I think they have to measure a certain height to get points.

they have to be a slider of some sort that would protect the body panels from rocks should the body come into contact with whatever. a strip of aluminum or steel outside the panel would be a slider.

there was a question posted about it in the sorrca thread.

Class3 cut & shuts.. I can modify diameter and width, correct? Is there anything I cant do? What about "scale"? It just has to meet height requirments, right?

Yeah they do. Friggin plastic toys. But my stoopid ass bought some, ha. I'm going to have to cut that box in half and shorten it to get it in the bed of my Chevy. We'll see how that looks.

I'll take the points! Ha.

Your two question are very good. Please post in the SORCCA to see the answer.

Ask about your slider and your drop bed.

I post for ya let see what happens.

you could literally take a strip of bar stock and run it along the bottoms of your doors and that would be a slider.

remember way back when i talked about a wraith class?

I just taped my uni-ball pen to it with scotch tape. Problem solved!

No mention of mechanically fastened requirement to my knowledge...or a requirement that it has to stay attached the entire time!

Why would you want a wraith class? Do you not feel a wraith is class 3?

I feel both Trey question are very legit. I also feel there points on both. Or I hope so. I wanna start using my Wraith as a comp rig for class 3.
