Chuck, I don't think I should go today. I'm coming down with something... been up all night with a sore throat and runny nose. I just took a hot shower to try and break the crap up.

I spent about 15hrs this weekend wrenching on my 1:1 truck. It's coming along.. Nearing completion.. Probably 95% done not including paint. but, still have some more hours to put in. I started the project over a year ago and then didn't touch it for months & months but, now I'm back at it. I just want to drive it this winter.
I've done many motor swaps and built many cars in my day.. This one was quite "involved". Who woulda thought. Heres what I'm building for those who arent aware. A hopped up Ford 302 V8 into a 92' Toyota Xcab pickup, Ford C4 auto trans (reverse manual), RF1A gear drive yota transfercase, 6" of lift, 33" tires.
I'm sick of working on cars. Before I got into R/C crawling (when I met you guys) my main hobby was building cars.. I have more of those builds under my belt than scalers probably. Anyways, I'm sure it'll be a cool & unique daily / offroad rig when its done.

I even got a bunch of goodies from RPP in the mail that I haven't had a chance to play with yet. For my new C1 build.. Tamiya Wrangler body & parts, TF2 chassis setup, TF2 2spd trans, TF2 transfercase, gearhead 1.55 enk's (although, ill probably have to make wheels), vanquish ax10 axles & trusses & arb diff covers... Still need more stuff but, that's a start.

Haha, well.. At this stage it looks like a total junker so, here's a picture from when it was complete before I swapped it. It's a little lower and on 31's but, that's the rig I'm workin' on.

I'll be sure to get more pics when its finished. Also, some vids! I can't wait to hear it.

Here's a quick breakdown..
It's a 95' Mustang 5.0 short block, Trickflow twisted wedge aluminum cylinder heads, Trickflow tfs1 cam, Trickflow track heat intake manifold, Trickflow 70mm throttle body, Trickflow 1.6 roller rockers, FMS 30lb injectors, Megasquirt standalone ecu, GripFab custom exhaust (dual 2.5" into single 3"), GripFab motor mounts, GripFab Trans mount, Griffin radiator & dual electric fans, C4 trans (reverse manual configuration) Cheetah SCS shifter, etc.

Should be good for 350hp.. Thats a decent amount of power for what its going to be in. Something will break if I push the pedal hard enough.
The toyota axle/diff is probably the weak points.
