I just talked to a friend of mine.
He and his wife were waling through Schiller Woods (Irving Park and Cumberland) and saw some guys flying RC planes so they went and checked it out...

Then, they walked a little further and found several people driving RC trucks around a big hill with trails all around it!

Now, he doesn't know what type of trucks they were but I thought it might be worth us checking out.

Anyone ever play with planes? I've been looking at a small RTF for under $100 to play around with in the back yard. I know you guys like the choppers.. You think one of those would be more fun? I suppose I could run that indoors & out. Hmm.

i have a small blade heill and its fun inside but outside it sucks any wind will toss it around
edit i haven't touched it in a year i bet so ya was fun like 10 mins..

Yea.. I dont know if choppers do it for me. Might get a cheap plane and discover that those don't do it for me either. Haha

Not yet, waiting on some parts to come in. Probably womt be running it for another couple weeks.. Hopefully sooner but, I want to get the body done up and fab some steel for it. I expect good things out of that G2 though. Nice kit IMO

Edit: I watch plane vids.. I dont want one any more. Maybe a micro crawler.
