I always use that Holmes adapter. It has the wire pulled already... but yours seems correct.

Nevermind.. I crammed it in there and it worked out pretty well I think.. Now I have on-board air and an easy to reach air hose incorporated into my spare tire hold down.

Edit: I changed the hose routing to this:

While digging out the trail markers and banners I cam across the sticker set I gt from Rick with GripFab and NIRC stickers. I can use them on the Hilux I am keeping and on the new boat.

i kinda dig the elecs part.

what i dont dig is trying to get these tamiya willy and hilux drivers done. im just not a fan of the whole cake decorating phase... ;)

oh and get this!
last night i get home from work with the task in mind of finally putting the lights in my tf2.
i look for an honest hour and decide that i either didnt order the lights or i had just lost or thrown them out. then i look some more, just cant find them anywhere.

i go onto rpp to look them up, and thought i would look around one last time. nothing... so i go to order them and cant remember if they are 3mm or 5mm leds. so i look at the truck to confirm, and see that i had already put the mother****kng lights in it...

Well, I can't get that holmes connector to work.

I plugged the servo & the BEC into the dual end of the connector and I plugged the single end of the connector into the CH1 steering port of the RX. Nothing.

I ditch that and plug the servo directly into the RX and it works.

I did plug the red wire on the esc back in and installed it into CH2.

I don't know what is happening.

Use only the yellow wire on the servo. It will only need to receive a signal.

This is the connector I have.

Holmes didn't say anything about pulling servo wires.. You sure about that? Is that what you did while using this connector?

I tried flipping the plugs, i tried the plugs in different positions, i tried a second holmes connector that i ordered.. Nothing. I must be doing something wrong, I just dont know what it is.. I want to smash something.

No matter how I use this holmes thing, if its in there, the servo doesnt work. If I take it out and go back to what worked, the servo works. Wtf

Rick

Are you sure you have the plug for the rd going the right direction?

All black wires on the outside.

Try taking the to wire out of your servo. Only leave the yellow or white.

Take out black and red. Don't cut out. Just take out. Patience
