Jason, the smoke was from the motor I think. I hope. Esc was not hot, and still functioned, but the motor would not respond to any input I made with the throttle.

P.S. I did find a dime in the short couple minutes I was detecting. Nothing of age tho, 1965.
was the sensor wire plugged in? is it the motor you waterproofed?

sry man. i feel ya. i burned up 2 rspros just by trying to solder on the damn motor and battery wires on...

Thats a killer setup sweez.

I acquired a pretty trick piece for another trophy someday.. Whenever we do a KOA (King Of the Axes) race/competition sometime. This is the NIRC, we can invent races, right?

It's a nice piece of aluminum.. Each axe is about 12" long. Could make for a cool trophy.

Let's see what I can break/burn up at the comp tomorrow.
I installed my new $70 motor in the MRC and destroyed the trans on the first trip around the yard... I will not be at the comp tomorrow.

I have a set of scale trail markers and a set of scale vendor banners, would you guys like them for the club? Not doing much for me with boats now, lol.

Also, anyone need a Tamiya Bronco body set? NIP. Hard to sell it considering the shipping cost.

What do you gotta get outta the markers/banners? I think that would be a cool addition to the trails/comps.. Something in the background to look at.

Just cover shipping. They will all fit in a small Priority Mail box.

Neil, how's it coming with that FlySky?

I dropped transmission number 2 into the Dinky and she's back up and running.

Still looking for the programming interface stuff. Hopefully this week, but I did a dumbass and popped a hole in my A/C condenser 2 days ago trying to improve condensate drainage. Tough working in the shop when it is 95 out. I am trying to get the new A/C in next week.
