Few more weeks until ECSC.. I'm excited. It'll be my first big event outside of the NIRC. I'll be lounging Friday & Sunday just checkin' you guys out because Class2 is on Saturday is what they're sayin. I'm praying that nothing comes apart that I don't have spare parts for or can't fix on the spot.

Props to you guys that are runnin' all the classes and had to get 3 trucks dialed in & ready.

My TJ body is going for paint on wednesday this week, then I'll be ready for a final shake down run on sunday. Then after that I have to concentrate on maintaining my 210k mile 4runner for the journey. Needs brakes, and routine maintenance type stuff.

Trey, how you doin' man? Haven't heard from ya in a while.. You comin' to town soon or what!

Zero, more "secret project" teaser pics!

hmm, I have my drag set at 45%, it doesn't totally hold... it'll creep down hills but it doesn't front flip anymore.

i need to tweak the drag break on my rspro as well... i like it for some things, but other things (like that rope bridge at the cliffs) its a huge pita and endoing just sucks.

i had the realization last night that i need to do ALOT of work on the wraith, and that getting to flesh out the details on the tf2 and timmy like i was wanting to is most likely not going to happen.

tf2 is good to go besides drivers, and timmy all i need to do is change out the bearings in the axles.

but yeah im hoping sunday to get a little tf2 and wraith shakedown time.

I'm going to be adjusting my rs pro soon to. Mines at 100% on my wraith and its bad news. Do you have the hot wire to adjust it with a computer ?

I had Melons front axles apart yesterday and I was afraid to try and remove the old bearings in case they fell apart and I couldn't get them out...

i try to remember grease the races and bearings just so they dont seize up in the races. those big bearings in the knuckles... those like to stick themselves in there real reall good.

I never thought to grease them

I did just place an order with Fast Eddy though... hopefully I don't need to order new knuckles too!

sometimes a good soak in liquid wrench or pb blaster and also sticking them in the freezer overnight will free them up a little.

Hmm.. I seem to be more worried about the bearing actually working correctly & not spinning the OD of the bearing instead so, sometimes I put the smallest dab of loctite on there to keep it from spinning. I only do this if a bearing falls in & out of place.. Most of the time I don't have to do this but, it sounds like you guys would never do such a thing.

I got about 20min run time on my Boca green seals.. I think I should be good to go for a little while. I put a drop of oil on them after each run and I can see it work its way past the seal.

i would never loctite the knuckle bearings. then again i lack the proper tools that might help in bearing removal. like a work bench or vise or press... or anything really...

Ya I have a hot wire and I did play with settings already just not right I guess ..ill try less drag and was hoping it had a separate neutral brake hold to set..or on remote (4pl)turn down return speed on the throttle to control strong drag brake from flipping truck
