Ohh yeah! I've spent a bunch of time driving my SCT and remembered what got me involved in RC. Soo much so I bought a used Losi 22 buggy, and driving it has become like crack. It's just very refreshing to drive something so fast and agile, after driving crawlers for so long.

I'm going to sell the 6x6, maybe a wraith(the black one), and maybe even my new cherokee. I could use some cash for a better charger, some more hard case batteries, and a few other things I want/need. My crawlers have all sat untouched. I finished the rebuild on my scx10 drove it once since and they have done nothing but collect dust. I just can't see keeping my money tied up in something I'm just not driving. Especially when there are upgrades and stuff I want for vehicles I'm driving almost every day.

I guess to borrow a phrase "I feel the need the need for speed!"

I wouldn't mind doing a track day. I've never done it before though and I'm sure I'd suck at it. Is there a cool place to go run where it doesn't matter if you've never done it? I can only drive up and down the street so much.
I've been running my SCT, around a little impromptu loop close to my house. I'm hitting lake in the hills and maybe H2 when vaca gets over. Prolly on a Saturday. I need to do a couple open practice days to get my gear up to snuff and my skill polished up a little. It's been quite a while since I raced. Last time I raced I was running Nitro Stadim trucks, Associated RC10gt, and a Losi NXT. Both of which I still have LMAO.

I should probably stop parking backwards in forest preserves then. This is awkward.
I thought this only went towards like wearing your pants down low in prison. It signifies that you are available. You know..For Futt Bucking.

I have a chunky spot in each tire. I rubberized the shitt out of the seam because I wanted them to be air tight. I only mounted one so far so, we'll see.

take the foams out, mount them up, put them in the sink and see where the leak is.

Edit: Maybe I should pull them apart and run a tiny bead of silicon in them.
Are you using the Black Rubberized CA to fill the gaps? Shouldn't get crispy. Also put a little water in them, mount them and squeeze, you will find the leak. Mark it with chalk and seal it.

I want to be like Rick ::sadface:: were those tires 2.2s before you cut them?

I just spent 3 hours splitting the clod buster body into a cab/ bed and "dove tailing?" The front end. I might just run it as a cab with the 1.9s I have. It rubbed even on my 1.55s so i had to. Looks pretty beast not gonna lie.

Ok.. Due to it being mothers day, I think there is enough of us that aren't going to make it this sunday the 13th that we'll have to reschedule. Also, the date change we talked about earlier no longer applies because you guys are going to scope out that camp spot on the 20th, correct? How about we switch Day2 from 5-13-12 to 6-3-12 and have our comp at the camp spot?

Day1 = 4-29-12 (sun) @ Busse. 9:30am setup ,10am start
Old Day2 = 5-13-12 (sun) @ Roselle. 10am start
Day3 = 5-27-12 (sun) @ Foster. 9:30am setup ,10am start
New Day2 = 6-3-12 (sun) @ Cliff's.
Day4 = 6-16-12 (sat)
Day5 = 7-1-12 (sun)
Day6 = 7-21-12 (sat)

Sorry if it's a bit confusing but, What do you think?
