2 1.9 rigs: 1 is a shelf queen, gets polished more than my knob! The other is a Honcho shafty with no dig or rear steer. 1 2.2 rig: no rear steer but has dig. can be disabled it's decided to be illegal. Doc, nice place to start on the rules! Thanks for your efforts. |

1.55 "grocery getter" class: no dig, no rear steer, no moa, no magic fu fu dust to help you down the trail... 1.9 "shade tree mechanic" class: no rear steer, no moa, but dig allowed... 2.2 "run whatcha brung" class: if it has 4 wheels, it qualifies! too simplistic??? |

Doc, that was a different kind of 'wow'. With all of the details required for points and the definitions for the classes at the bottom is what I was wowing. Last edited by Hotrodblder; 09-07-2012 at 06:01 PM.

I honestly dislike the G6 rules. Having scale accessories mandatory takes the fun out of personalization out of a scaler. I like how the Scale 4x4 rules more because of getting points for having accessories. It shouldn't be required to have any accessory. That is purely up to the driver. MOA, real world = no bueno. Take a look at engineering failures and would you really want a engine down in the water and mud your axle gets in? Rules can be altered some but I would boycott a G6 event, it's like a prison for a scale truck. I feel starting with the scale 4x4 rules is a good start. We could make it 1.9, 2.2, and odd balls classes.

I agree, what if you don't want a bunch of random jargon or "flair" on your rig? I personally think that alot of people over-do it, and end up with a crappy, cluttered looking hoopty of a rig. It may get points and drive OK, but I've never had a roof rack on any 1:1 4x4 I've owned. Let alone 7 other random (and tentatively unnecessary) items... In my 1:1 adventures, I wasn't after packing the most "stuff" into my rig just to look cool... So why reward points for thinking the opposite?

I like the idea of 1.55, 1.9, and 2.2 classes. Just nothin about g6 rules wanting you to have accessories haha.
