Alright the weather looks like it isn't gonna be the best. The gated area is under trees and usually stays pretty dry even during heavy rains. The weather shouldn't be a huge deal unless we get large hail. So make sure you pack a rain Pancho/coat.

With all this rain I was worried that this may be cancelled... Glad to see it's still a go!

Crap! I just set mine up like that last night... How SHOULD they be wired up? I'm gonna do some research; if you respond, please PM me so we don't bulk up this thread with BEC talk!

LB, I have a Losi 2ch Tx/Rx pair out of an MRC I'll bring to get him by until your replacements arrive. Don't want anyone to be left out of the fun tomorrow!

HotRod: docwolf was gonna bring a radio setup for my boy to use. But thanks for the thought.

Grob23: wire it red, black to the battery then on your 3 wires coming out hook your + and - up to your servo. Your signal wire out of the BEC dosnt get hook to anything and the signal wire coming out of the servo hooks to your channel 1 of you receiver.

I re-wired my rig again, and while I was at it I was gonna wire up my BEC until I remembered that it hasn't been programmed yet... I got my truck completely done and took it for a "shakedown run" in my living room. Since there were no rocks, I found wheelies to be the next best thing. As with any vehicle, slamming from forward to reverse is never a good idea. I heard a pop, and noticed my driveshaft hanging. I broke a trans output...

the 1.55 is out of commission until further notice.

but, I still have a 1.9 rig to run

Just seeing those score sheets makes me wish my 1.55 rig was going... I may just steal my buddies Trans for my rig. Between runs, could I swap transmissions between my 2 trucks?
