I Think I've seen rc models of the Goodyear blimp. . Probably would be hard to make one if you knew how they worked.

It might be cool to pick up one of those Goodyear ones and create a WWI era version... although the scale would be way off. It takes like 20 of those Goodyears to make one Zepplin. Talking 1 to 1 scale. But yeah, maybe I could rob the Goodyear version of its goods and go from there?

Sorry Nick! Back to your regularly scheduled programming...

Sorry guys it has been sold. With my son being almost 1 year old and my other projects going on I just don't have the time to do the custom stuff I used to. Maybe down the road I'll get back into the more in depth projects.

Yeh it got parted. I don't think anyone wanted to continue the build as a prerunner. The body and chassis went to a guy in France actually. Looks like the axle is going to a guy over on the DR site. I still have all the front end components. It would have really been a headache to get working. It looked good sitting on the bench but making it perform decent is a whole other problem.

Nick,
Great lookin truck. Too bad you decided not to finish it.

Love the St. though. I bred em for years. Don't mean to go too OT but here's a pic of my Boris from his prime. He died a gray old man earlier this summer. In the photo he weighed in at 220. He was a big boy.

Sorry to dig this thread up from the grave but I've been searching and searching. Has anyone seen this rig finished? Had a lot of fun (aka lots of swearing) working on this thing....
