I got good news and bad news and more bad news

The Heater Core in my Toyota truck is pissing out antifreeze

Bad enough to soak the carpet on passenger side of the truck

The core is less than $40.00 at Napa, they will get it overnighted to the store in Carson City for me pay and pick up tommorrow

But since my truck has air conditioning the whole dash board has to come out or at least come loose

So I'm screwed cause it too much work for me by self and the weather has changed and its cold all day, its would take me hours or days

And my GMC has bald tires and it will start dumping snow soon and there 16'' and not cheap

So Merry Christmas too me

Sorry to hear that hard times have befallen you.

another $ 4000. !?

What !? Do you live in a mansion, nestled on 40 acres
located on prime real estate... on a water front ?

$ 4000. !?. Sounds a might steep for yer parts.

Sounds as if the California liberals want you to pony up for their social life.

Plus somebody has to pony up for all them bused in anti-tump voter shenanigans.

better hope Trump saves yer arse
or you'll end up like me, lucky if ya have a pot to piss in

just live by the hour... 'til it comes Lol
Smoke 'sum when ya got 'dat !

No I'm in Northern Nevada in a 3 bedroom, 1,800 square foot house on 2 1/2 acre lot

With a separate garage/shop that you can park a 40 foot motor home in

So I get nailed, cause of the of the property value and separate structure

My Dad and I both wanted to install a wood burning stove, So you could work out there in the winter

But don't think that going to happen now

I'm need my Toyota running

So I'm going to buy some heater hose and some hose clamps

And just bypass the core for now

Cause I looked at a few U-Tube videos, and it looks like it going to be a pain it the ass

The whole dash has to come apart cause of the AC

Even though my AC doesn't work cause the switch mounted to the heater control panel is broke and won't turn on and I took the belt off of the compressor

You have take the AC unit apart that's connected to the blower unit

Its too much for me

I made a temporary core bypass hose, by using the return hose, you can see it has the flush out for the heater core

I'm going to go buy some new heater hose and make it the right length and buy 2 hose clamps

I called Napa my heater core was not in there delivery from Sac, so someone screwed up my order and now there looking for it

And supposed to call me back, and wanted to make one trip

Same shit different day

Sounds like it's gonna be a cool ride in the winter months.

Maybe you should get one of those hand held 12v heater/defroster
units... sold at Harbor Freight (chump change)

Not really much more then a glorified blowdryer...
but is easily used by plugging into a 12v cigarette lighter/port/source.

May help keep yer windshield clear enough to see... when driving.
And might warm the cabin a little more then nothing.

Its alive, I bought a new piece of heater hose and 2 hose clamps

Going to start parking the truck in the shop that should help it from freezing at night

My cigarette lighter has a short some cause every time u plug some thing into it blows the fuse instantly,

I replaced the lighter socket and it still blows the fuse, I would like to be able to charge my cell phone

Or run a aftermarket heater, but don't look that way

welp then freeze to death if that sounds better !?

But if you crash because you can't see outta yer windshield...
or have to attempt clearing that while driving
and ya hurt somebody else during yer stupidity...
the courts should lock you up and throw away the key jm $ .02

'least then you won't have to pay yer property taxes any longer

Seriously... It's not that difficult...
wire the portable heat/defroster unit directly off yer battery.
You could even use alligator type clips to hold those wires on the battery posts.

Probably cost you $ 10.00 or less incl. the HF defroster thingy.

oh wait... you have to be smarter then yer truck...

nevermind

Taco

Challenge accepted and challenge answered

I used 2 8' feet long 10 gauge wires and can run 30 amps thru the cigarette lighter

Added a 30 amp in line fuse holder on the hot wire too run a heater/defroster

Had just enough wire too mount it next to the parking brake

I can now charge my Cell phone too

Going to look for decent heater that I can stick to the dash

And defrost the window and then turn around to heat the cab too

Taco

I don't know what the **** is going on, Napa screwed me twice, they ordered my heater core and was supposed to be delivered overnight 2 separate times

And get told, they will call me first thing in morning, and both times, I had to call and ask them where is my core and how come they never called me

Got a bullshit answer twice, there won't be a 3rd time, cause I will put my foot in some ones ass

Its the principal of it, the guy told me he would order the part and call me, it was ordered 2 times and never came, and was never called

Then cop a attitude, when I call and ask where my part is and try to give me some bullshit story

Napa is supposed to be professional, that why I buy from them instead of other auto part stores

It just my luck I guess

I got my original Hasbro gas can and its smaller, than the gas can for the 21st century Jeep Mutt and my Dragon Jeep

Already had 2 gas cans the same size, and they look like they were cast from the Hasbro gas can

The Hasbro gas can is hollow and light weight, the other ones are solid and heavy

Need to make a gas can mount for the Hasbro

Yeah Baby

Check this out, I got a the windshield wire frame

I like how it fits, now to re-print it with the upper and lower panels and windshield opening

It fits right with the Mirror in place and looks damn good

Too Taco's toothless bitches, he finds in the desert

I need to contact my Designer and get the completed program, so I can try and get the completed windshield before Xmas

Cause Shapeways does take a little to ship your part

Yeah Baby

I fixed my Toyota's drivers side window, it would not roll all the way up and would roll down when you hit a hard bump in the road

So that told me the window regulator, was ****ed up, and it was there was teeth missing on the cam

It cost me $22.00 for new window regulator and a little of my time

And now it rolls up like butter

Yeah Baby

Got to be smarter than the window

I was going too cut the hood and hinge it

Now I'm going for something completely different

And used extra bumper mounts I made

The pins from the windshield frame rest in the mounts

So I can lift off the hood and cowl and windshield frame

All as one piece, its ugly but does work

I got my G-made wheel wideners and they don't fit the Axial SCX10 axle pins

The Axial pins are too big in diameter and seem too long

So I don't know if I need a set of Traxxas or g-made axle pins

Cause they all look the same lenght and diameter too me from looking at pictures online

I need to ask some one else using widners what pins they used
