Using beef tubes and cutting down two long side Wraith axles.

You could use some kind of wheel spacer or aftermarket wheels with offset SLW hubs. I'd rather buy some correct length shafts form Lockedup.

They are 6mm OD ... if I recall correctly someone said beef tubes are 6.5mm ID?

If so then yes.

Once we get our base models established I can see venturing out into small runs of stuff like that.

So, yes .... but not just yet.

Awesome info I was just curious about my beef tubes being compatable with the larger OD LockedUp OT shafts.

Just to be clear, I've not checked the fittement myself, I'm just going by the manufacturer provided measurements.

Nope.
These are AX10/SCX10 only.

Wrong thread and wrong section, try the classifieds. And the answer is no to your first question as stated in the first post of the thread they only fit the SCX10/AX10 axles.

Edit: precisions added

5 Minutes to an awesome upgrade!

Let all the worry and question be gone of these outstanding OT-2 axles working freely inside scx10 beef tubes. The inner diameter of the beef tubes, inner I.D. and outer I.D. is 7.10mm on my current set. Lockedup's OT-2 axle O.D. is 6.01mm straight across so no issues what so ever I am happy happy happy..

Ready and patiently waiting a ar60 set of rear axle..

V2 beef and maybe even 5mm threads (but that can wait)..
Breaking always happens for me, from the bearing out but mainly from pin area to the threaded area..
