Anyone tried aquarium rocks before? looks wise it would be fairly realistic, not sure on grip though you could put some glue on them and sprinkle sand over them.

Nice courses everyone! I mainly crawl in the rocky areas of the garden or in the backyard in the "man cave" basically a car tent garage thing with rocks as the ground and theres a wood pile which is good for crawling. Of course its too dark now but tomorrow I will be sure to get plenty of pictures and videos.

Here is what I slapped together the other night. Just needed a lil something to test on. I am gathering the supplies needed to put together something more perminent. I used 3 Losi crawler pieces painted with Fleckstone paint.A garden boarder cut in half. Then added a bag of BBQ Lava Rocks. And lastly some Featherwieght stone. Looks heavy but isn't at all. here are a few pics for ya. |

| Don't let HR find out.. lol I use old broken computers as a rock course in my lab at work. They do not care of I play with the crawler so long as I keep things running and do not play with it when a system is down. |

Figured I would revive this thread with a few projects I started today. One was done with plaster cloth that is currently drying before another coat, dry time and paint. The second is all cardboard (besides twine and glue), lots more to do but I was getting tired. |

I am mid build on my course. so far its working great and very easy to modify to my liking. using lots of molded cardboard from packaging ( same type that the losi kit is made from, but thicker) newspaper, flour, used coffee grounds, and water. just need some micro logs which will come from our spare christmas tree branches |
