How soft is the suspension with the shocks and I'eafs? Im debating purchasing one of these due to me snapping my smc chassis.

My leafs are running about .030" thick, I was told the smc is .020". So it's probably a little more firm?, but the length also effects it and I don't know how long theirs are. I run the shocks with micro-t springs, so it's pretty soft. I think by changing the springs properties you should be able to get the firmness you're shooting for.

What is the difference between a 4-link ladder frame and the trekker chassis? Or the chassis he just started making?

This chassis more closely resembles a real frame. It is about a quarter inch shorter in front, a half inch longer in the back, overall sits about a quarter inch lower, and the upper link mounts are about an eighth inch higher. It allows the body to be mounted lower. I used it for this build... I'm sorry, who just started making?

Here's a custom frame I'm making for a semi build. I'll make it into a kit if there is interest. It's a 12.5" long chassis.

Is it possible for you to make one thats shorter than 5" wb? Maybe around 4.25-4.50? I would like to use one of the Jeep models.
