Is that Raptor Body in the background for the Micro Crawler? If So would you be willing to sell it or tell me where you got it?

Yes the raptor fits this Trekker build. Won't fit a stock wheelbase. It is from a road rippers toy.

Been dealing with the snow so I haven't had a chance to progress much on the build. I did however remove the plastidip from the electronics and decided to rework my wiring on the ESC. I used a JST plug for my motor. That way I can remove the ESC without removing the motor.

Got my 5.0 built for my old truck last night. I'm going to use it to hide my ESC

Also, added a necessary item to the interior. You know for all of the Trekker hijacks and all lol.

No old truck is complete without a few bullet holes

I also added some accessories to the bed

Little update, I had to cut my 5.0 in half in order to clear my esc when the body was mounted. In order to mount it, I cut a small piece of styrene sheet and glued it from fenderwell to fenderwell. Then I painted it black and glued the engine to the platform. I also oilyfied (is that a word) my engine to go with the rest of the truck's theme. I think it turned out good.

If anyone is curious, the little notch in the tranny tunnel is to clear the motor.

Here is the final product in all it's glory. For now at least. I call it the Ford FC100 (C is for crawling of course). Enjoy!

Pose with my boy's trekker.
