Just move the body back a bit and stick the chassis up in the cab.And you're right, the link geometry is spot on.

Blader, There have been a couple for the mixer chassis on this thread, and there have been several other threads that are the same. The mixer is a VERY complete kit, likely the MOST complete kit out there, and reasonabley priced too. Mike |

To date there is nothing better than the Kamikaze Kustoms Zero MRC. And i think its only $65 - $80. I'm gong to wait to see what the new GC2 looks like, if not happy with it I will order the Kamikaze. Sven's Kamikaze Kustoms Zero MRC Last edited by fa1rch1ld; 07-23-2009 at 11:11 AM. |

I have the Kamikaze Kustoms Mini Zero and last time I checked it was $65. I strongly suggest this chassis. The only extra parts you need is some rod ends and another set of factory lower links As far as the miXer chassis I have drove a buddy of mine's and it was awesome also. so good luck with your choice of chassis but............................................... ....................................... get the metal lockers a new servo and a new set of shoes 1st

I run the Mixer chassis, I have not had much testing on it yet but it feels good from the times I have run it.

I second the T1E mini rock show. A little more than most but a very complete kit and the link geometry is also spot on. I have a couple of friends that compete with the mixer and they are looking for another chassis after only a couple of months if that tells you anything. The TVP's tend to get hung up. Go with delrin, it is much slicker than aluminum. |

First off, dont take anyones advice on any chassis they have no experience with. I have run the stock chassis, and the mixer, so I can say from my experience that the mixer is a killer kit. Extremely complete, and well thought out, it has tons of setting options and can accomodate almost anything you could want. I cant speak for the others, I am sure tho that Mr.Ed has a killer rig. He has the KK zero and If I know him, (and I know he has driven the KK, mixer and the stocker) he made a good choice. For anyone to say that once chassis is better than the other is ludicris. It comes down to setup, accessories and driver skill. I know that my mixer is still lacking on a few things, namely motor and ESC. However it still runs very well. The only real way to compare chassis is to have one of each, all running identical accessory setups (same electronics, motor, servo, wheels and tires). But since no-one has done this, there is no way of knowing. I do know this for a fact, the best bet is to get a chassis that is as complete as possible, and also with the most amount of tuning/setup options. Only through this will you ever be able to find what works for you and your driving style. Alot of ground can be compenstated for with a well setup suspension. In other words, you may not have the best tires in the world, but you can setup your suspension to take advantage of the rigs strong points. Good luck Darryl |

Good posts guys, thanks! I'd defenitely like a pretty complete kit. I don't have a bunch of fab tools, but I guess I could get some if needed, just don't have a lot of time for that. And it's about to get worse! :-( I'm sitting down and compiling a list of what each kit comes with and we'll go from there. Thanks again! Mike |

You can not beat the fubar mini skeeter. I have not ran mine in a comp yet but I would not trade it for anything. I really like the way it looks and the way it is performing. I hope this helps. |

Well, if my tally is correct, it looks like the DS chino is the most complete kit. The the T1E, DNA, Mixer, PR concepts, and GC2 came in 2nd. Looks like KK and the mini skeeter tied for 3rd. I did not add the new Black Widow, Yuda's, or OCD's chassis in the mix since they haven't been "released" yet. Think I'll wait and see what happens with the release of these others just to compare. The kits that you have to buy stock links for the uppers, do they have to be cut down to size? Or is the stock length right? Thanks! Mike Last edited by speedjunkie; 07-30-2009 at 08:01 AM. |
