I think the Mongoose has plenty of wheel speed with the 2s. I was using reedy 19 turn with 2s before so the Mongoose has more wheel speed than what I was using. Are you going to the Nats Eric? |

Should have my new front locker from Brians Hobbyland soon and be ready to go for Nationals. Excited to compete with this little guy again. |

| All I need to do is a nut and bolt check and mine should be ready. Unless you wanted to throw a body together for mine quick |

I have always just ran a few preloads on my shocks, but what are you doing to combat your torque twist? Thicker oil in the back?

So far torque twist hasn't been much of an issue with the GC3 chassis. Of course that was when I was running a brushed motor. We will see with the mongoose how it does. I would try playing with springs first. J

Do you need to use a Castle BEC in order to run that monster BLS152 servo? Also, what did you use for the servo mount posts? The stock posts don't fit standard servos. A part number would be much appreciated. Thanks for your help! |

Yes, you will want to use a CC BEC. I use the stock servo posts with the BLS152. I am only using the lower mounting holes on the servo, but I am also using a flat head screw with concave washer for a larger mouting surface. You can also use the Axial servo mounts http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...SEARCH=ax80007 J

FYI on the servo mounts - picked up the Golden Horizons aluminum mounts and they work perfectly. Just had to widen the holes on the servo plate to fit the larger screws. Now the servo is solid. Highly recommend...
