I am not trying to bring up a "who came first" argument....just to make a clarification on the Dlux link mounts. The should have no problem being used without the clocking ring (and LCC parts) and should work just fine in the rear. Just like Don's products, they will simply need to be drilled and have a bolt run through them to the axle.

BTW, very nice work as usual Don! Sorry that your thread got a bit off topic...

Links look good. Are you doing button heads or flat heads? I would think countersunk with flatheads would be better (but sucky little allen wrenches.....)

I got my package from Don Today. He hooked me up with all the latest goodies. I couldn't stand the suspense of waiting until I got home from work to check it out. I stopped by the post office and got it before they could deliver it to the house. I got the new chassis complete with new electronics trays, aluminum servo mount, new redesigned rear 4-link plate, and the new shock/link axle mounts. Now I got to get home and get it built. Thanks Don for the nice stuff.

BuckI stopped by my shop with the box-o-goodies. is that chassis ready for bracing and lexan or is it gonna need a DUB topper to be legal ??

get it built B!

love the electronics plates Don! i bet it adds to the rigidity of the chassis overall. I would only be leery of changing to a smaller shock and not getting the articulation my mini wedge gives me..

What are the new electronics trays they speak of? I've looked on all the pictures in this thread, the vendors section, BWD website and shop and can't see them - just the aluminum servo plate. Can someone enlighten me or get a build thread up asap?

The chassis has 2 delrin trays for mounting electronics to. This is great, because the one thing I disliked about my old wedge was no room to mount anything. I just got home from work and getting started on it. I'll have some posted asap.

Thanks for the quick reply. With you on that one, mounting the electronics is a little challenging in the wedge.

looking forward to your pics.
