I started to mess with it last sunday. had to shut it down to change over my laundry. When I hooked the lipo back up to finish what I was doing it wouldn't power up. bec was toast. crazy it went like that. haven't got it changed over yet. Have to take half the truck apart to rewire cause its messy. Going to be real busy Friday night to have this going for Saturday. Do you have a link to what u were looking at. the one I found was hard to read.

If you adjust that you will not have your issue.

In looking at the manual, I really envy you! There are so many variable's that can be adjusted! Not to mention its a brushed / brushless ESC!

I really like the Hobbywing stuff. Had good sucess with them.
My wraith has that Xerun 3656sd/SCT pro combo. They were a lot cheaper when I bought mine. Since they don't discount the combos as much as they used to I would suggest the same Hobbywing 3400kv 3656sd and pair it with a Mamba Max Pro. Same final cost and better programing.

I noticed the price jump since I bought my Hobbywing stuff last year! Since they got popular they got more expensive.

Supply and demand..

The combo you were talking about (3656sd) makes about double the power of that though. This would come to $193 shipped:

Hobbywing XERUN 3656SD 4000KV SCT Dust Proof Sensored Brushless Motor IM240 | eBay

Castle Creations 1 10 Mamba Max Pro ESC Smart Sense Speed Control 010 0066 00 | eBay

Pretty good. Like any brushless motor its biggest weakness is starting smoothly when you are already headed down hill. It crawls as slow as I want to go with my wraith.

I just noticed I linked the 4000kv version. Obviously I meant to link the 3400kv version that we had been talking about.

Yah they didnt hold up. Couldnt keep the wheel nuts tight so it caused the drive pins to chew the slot out of the plastic hubs. So on the shelf it goes till i can put some aluminum rims on it. And in my observation the pitbulls way out preform the bfg krawlers. so new tires and rims are in the future.

Why not just get some shift hubs for the wheels you already have?

I want the aluminum bead locks for the added weight. Then I don't have to stuff wheel weights in these to weight them.

Androtaz,

Drop me a PM if you want some info on the Shift Hubs. I have not gotten any reports of people stripping out the pin recess and if you do there is a second recess built right into them.

Idk yet. Was planning on getting different wheels down the road anyway, just not this soon. thinking im going to run pitbulls or ripsaws. the bfg crawlers don't bite good on rocks. Had to spin the hell out of them till they got warm then they bite. i'll let you know what I decide to do.

Trail Ready didn't hold a bead. Sad plastic things. The Pit Bull Rock beast II's on the other hand ,worked excellent!! Granted the 2.2 wraith rigs were getting out done by 1.9 scx trucks in tight lines. Still hands down out preformed the r40 BFG Krawlers. Had to lock tight the ball end retaining rings on the fixed links. Out of 6 I fixed 1 came apart. Good deal. No breakage this run . And what a run. maidens Cliff in camden maine. Hard on a truck!!! Shift hubs worked great as well. Stripped the stock plastic hubs at Reid stated park.

Im very impressed. I think imo ride height and weight make a lot of difference to. with the tire on your back and stock ride height it seemed to flip kinda easy. I still need some weight out front and better rims. but the pits I highly recommend! good luck finding some though lol

Yea I'm going to be running without the tire on the back on the next run. I threw a solar 772 in mine and changed over to my dx3e and clocked the steering so. I'll be good for the next run.
