3300 & 4200 mAh and 6 cell 7.2 volt

I ran the batteries flat as I could and they took more that 50% charge. I read that it takes 3 to 5 charge cycles before they reach there maximum potential. We will have to wait and see if this is true.

What did you use to discharge it?Are they brand new packs? If so then yes it will take 2-3 charges to fully bring them to full potential. You can either cycle them on your charger or just run them in the car/truck a few times.

your 3300 and 4200 should be set at the following on your charger

3.3 a charge
5mv/c peak sensitivity
0.9v/c disch cutoff

4200
4.2 a charge
5mv/c peak sensitivity
0.9v/c cutoff

I know its late now --- but on the charging issue.... I have had issues with false peaking on Nimh batteries --- I bought a brand new charger, with adjustable peak detection, and still had some trouble if charging at 2 amps or more.....whenever possible I let em charge slowly at 1.5 amp and get a full charge everytime. ( I want to, but I havent taken the time to adjust the peak dection further to see if I can get it to charge faster /reliably)

I'm hoping I find the spot...I go through the Stronghold intersection there at the base of the mountain all the time but have never been in the park.

Im just having my last shot of coffee and kicking the lazy kids outta bed before I head out to for crawling. See ya there!
