Well i got a beat down wraith second hand from a friend for practically nothing the other day and its been sitting on a shelf with a pile of brakeline waiting for inspiration. Figured i already have a little scx10 buggy project almost done and a really scale ascender thats 95% complete so what dont i have....a mega mud truck. Been really falling into the mega truck craze as we have several local mud bogs that i take my 1:1 truck to So natrually why not have a little one i can take to show off. Choosing the Vaterra Blazer body partially because i am a squarebody chevy fanatic and because the large size of the body will look very good on the wide ar60's. Just a start but stay tuned for all the building stuff and witty truck name crap. Havent nailed down the ride hight yet. I like the big stock bodied boggers and the low slung race trucks. It will have an interior and cut fenders Just a few real life mud slingers Lil girl loves the mud bogs ... .... ..... Last edited by THX_138; 02-24-2016 at 08:55 PM. |

So many damn tubes to notch and braze in. Im gonna have to get another bottle of gas. I will have right around 30' of tube wrapped up in this cage. ~$70 worth of material after gas and rods.

Well got the chassis finito. First layer of primer on. Gonna sand it good then pick up some color tomorrow. Not sure on that yet as i havent choosen a name for it. Ordered a new body. Gonna cut the top off and some large fender openings. I would like to run the new mud basher tires but i will have to see. They are huge and not too sure they will look right.
