Yeah Grave Digger green or....

Axial green to keep with the theme of the Wraith! Like the green on the Wraith body panels!

I was thinking of a lighter green. Something the shade of the green anodized axial hop-ups or a fluorescent "radioactive" green.

I am still undecided on chassis color. I am thinking it would be a toss up between aztec gold or lime green.

If you're talking about the Testors 1 coat laquers, you need to clear coat the heck out of them. I painted my Datsun Micro w/ the emerald green color, put on a coat of clear, & the paint scraped & chipped up real fast on the rocks. My Chebby build was painted w/ normal Krylon, & held up 10 times better.

No problem. I figured as bad as it was on mine, it'd be real bad on a tuber chassis.

I used parma's silicone tape when I put the body panel on. This worked well until I had to peel the body off. Bad idea, I had to re-glue a couple of the joints but nothing to major. I went ahead and made up some mounting tabs....

While I have everything torn down I tokk some material off the trans/mainframe mount.

I took about the same amount off the rear of the mount.
I finished that up and went on to prepping for paint. I decided to go with the axial theme for color.I ended up using tamiya suface primer and tamiya light green.....

Still need to move the rear upper links because of binding issue and then get the front and rear upper links wrapped with aluminum. I am going to re-do the body panel and go with a few different colors to break everything up.

Wicked! maybe this and the discontinuation of the micro crawler will help axial see they need to build a 1/20 micro scaler

keep it similar to the McRC,Mc4x4 & Sumo and use the same size hexes, wheels & tires with about the same width as McRC and they would have a winner!

Looks damn good. My shocks came in and I'm sorting out my electronics. Short 1 pair of aluminum chubs to completion of my 4ws. I still can't get over how quiet yours runs.

Thanks bro, I am going to have to re-do the body so I am going to paint the body with an axial paint scheme. Something with a couple of colors to break up all the green.

I have the rig back together after paint. I did change up the rear upper links mounting position so they are not hitting the shocks at 3/4 articulation. Now they are the same as the fronts and more parellel to each other.
Next up I will finish the body panels and re-do the hood with some sort of grill and bumper. I also need to come up with faux headlights and brake lights. So here's some pics of where she's at now........

I had a chance to set up a couple of obstacles after work and my friend KB took a quick vid with his phone.

Don't drive angry!?! Lol! You must have been a lil nervous due to the camera rolling. I've seen that thing make quick work of that rock pile. We need to get more video. That short vid didn't do that rig justice. It is a total beast!
