Any chance of these coming out as an RTR?

Update.

Following my issue with no working servo/steering I decided, as I was passing the HK warehouse to purchase two more servos & another ESC.

This evening I tried both new servos & the new ESC and... I still have no working servo/steering, mmm...

Now, I have yet to charge the 2s batteries I bought as I have yet to solder a connector together to my charger so the voltage will be certainly less than fully charged. There is however plenty enough juice in them (I bought two) to drive the truck forwards and backwards so, I have assumed that there should also be enough voltage to run the servo. Could I be wrong in thinking this ?

If its the case then part of me will feel a bit, well... stupid

I may get a pic up of the wiring though I'm sure it's ok.

Stupid, stupid, stupid.... me

Ok, I now have 2 spare servos & a spare ESC !

I hadn't plugged the blue wire into the receiver

I think because the servo plugs into the ESC I thought that was it, but obviously not !

Appreciate the help, I can now install the electrics & get on painting the body.

2-2 is for custom projects

2-3 is for the metal axle upgrade (NOT the gearbox upgrade)

3-3 is for both the stock plastic trans gears and stock axles

Been waiting a couple of months to get some bits delivered from Bangood as one of the packages got lost in the pre-Christmas post...

Have finally opted for the full metal upgrades with gears, driveshafts and axles completing the setup and a set of new links too!

I've also built a Losi Trail Trekker into a big brother so she don't get lonely...

Now running even better than before thanks to the increased ground clearance under the pumpkins and no more popping driveshafts

This is one clean and devoted job!
What kind of wheels/tires you used on Orlando?Losi Micro DT 1/36 may be?

Cheers - they're Losi Micro DT's, you need two sets as you can only modify the rears(?) for the sharts to fit.

Unfortunately it's back off the road as one of the UJ's has sheared off during the second battery through it - back to Banggood to see if they'll have a replacement...

After waiting a while I decided I'd get some shiney parts
They were an absolute PITA to install with all the tiny screws and ball ends (took me 3 hours )

The increased diff clearance and unsprung weight help a fair bit. Very capable, fun little rig.

WARNING. take out the grub screws in the front axle and thread lock them! I had one fall out. Luckily I found it.

Just how wide is this from outside to outside of the wheels? I have something I may could use these axles for?

Looks good, BTW.

70mm from wheel to wheel.

From research they'll go under a few 1:24 models

That's what I was thinking. It's be a good scale axle for a 1:24.

Regarding using the axles on other projects, what is the size of the balls, ends, and threaded rod? And has anyone used a Losi trans to the metal axles, as it looks like the tranny is built into the Orlandoo F-150 kit.

so if I plan to upgrade the tranny gears and run the metal axels I need the 2-3 or 2-2?

also is there or will there be motor options with a bit more wheel speed?

You can get motors with 80, 120, 150, 200 and 300 gearing at banggood (120 is standard i believe)

Joining this forum has not been good for my checking account. I ordered one of these kits, all the metal upgrades, the sound module and programmer, and an HK wifi reciever so I can run it with my cell phone instead of carrying around a radio everywhere.

so the lower number means more wheel speed right or higher? I like wheel speed to make it hop up obstacles.

Thanks for the help guys this little truck is awesome.
