desperately needs more wheel speed and taller tires. I am for sure getting the alloy axels to help with ground clearance. any little bit will help. So where is all the build pic being posted for the orlandoo? I want to see what ideas people come up with on this little truck. Quote:

Ok so I received the linkages that are supposed to go with metal axle set but they're too short! So I've got stock links which are too long and new ones which are too short. I just can't seem to work out why the metal axle set changes the geometry so much. If I set the lower links to the approx correct length the upper ones are way off and vice versa if I try the other way round. I'm not sure how 'out' the axles are supposed to be from the middle of chassis, in other words what angle should the shocks be at...? Vertical or bottom of shock slightly further out than top I guess. Can someone do me a huge favour and measure their links from inside ball end to inside ball end. I've built literally hundreds of RC vehicles but this one has got me stumped! |

Some quality issues. So I kinda like this fiddly little car, and was mainly expecting problems with the kit itself. Sofar not much to complain there. On the other hand the electronics. - ESC from HK, had to correct the soldering as + and signal on the servo plug were connecting - Servo from BG, loose wire inside the servo housing. - N20 120 rpm motor from BG, pinion was loose on the motor. Solved but its all so tiny. Next is getting it all together inside the car hope all stays intact. Last edited by waterbok; 02-10-2016 at 04:29 AM. |

Looks good. Will the Losi 1/24 wheels mount to the axles?

I wanted to build another one of these with a losi esc/reciever combo but the servo transfer lines that drop the voltage are no longer being carried by banggood, and I can't find any more in stock. I'd rather not try to make my own- I don't know anything about capacitors or where to put them. Anyone know a source or have one laying around you'd like to sell? Thanks
