| Which Orlandoo build?
I'm looking to get an orlandoo in either a defender or jeep, but I'd like to use my flysky gt5 radio with it. Is there a specific kit # that includes everything but the receiver and radio? Is anyone running a flysky radio with these tiny trucks? |

All the normal kits are just the chassis/tires/body. you'll need to order a servo motor, esc, reciever all separate. and any radio works so long as you got the receiver for it. just make sure when you order a kit of your preference, you pick up a n20 motor for it (suggest the 300rpm) and a ESC. for the servo there are a few sizes that fit, but it seems like the 1.7-2.2g servo's are best. I purchased a 3.7g servo and had to custom mount it as it was too large! |

Does the 300 rpm motor offer enough torque for crawling? | |

| Re: Which Orlandoo build? I feel the 300rpm is the most balanced of the motors, it gives it a little speed to move, while maintaining plenty of torque to crawl. if you intend to exclusively do crawling you can go with a slower motor, but you may find it feels a little TOO slow. and anything over 300rpm is better if you do more trail-like driving without as much crawling. many users prefer the ~200rpm range for their trucks, and it's not a bad option either, I just personally felt it was TOO slow at full throttle! |

I heard the wrangler has a metal gear in the axle and the f150 you have to buy it as an option. I’m planning on a Jeep someday myself. Look forward to seeing your posts on it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

There are many threads on the Orlandoos in this forum. All the ins and outs, shortcomings, and surprises as well as simple and complicated mods. Phaximus has brought a lot of the info.

Beautiful trucks! I ordered the Jeep with everything except the receiver/radio. Looking forward to building it! It'll come with the 120rmp motor (I believe), so I'll go up or down on the next motor from there after I've had a chance to try it.

Invest in a good head lamp! I am in the middle of assembling my jeep and couldn't believe the size of the pins and screws. Keep a clean and organized workspace as well. Luckily they give some extra quantities. |

| Re: Which Orlandoo build? I use a headlamp for everything! Also, make sure to magnetize the screwdriver! You couldn't build this kit without a magnetic tip.

The worst part for me on my Jeep build was those friggin' little smd lights. As if the screws aren't small enough for an old man, solderin' those #*%&-ers is a bitch! I went thru 3 or 4 fails to get 'em all lit up. Have fun and post 'er up! jim |

| Re: Which Orlandoo build? I heard you can get presoldered smd lights for cheap ton ebay. That might be an option - I haven't even touched the lighting on my truck yet |

I skipped the lights on my D110 and my son's Jeep; would be kinda neat, but not really necessary and we are using 2ch radios I already had. Then I added larger tires to my D110 and had to cut the front lamp holders for clearance under full-tuck, so guess I'll never wire mine... Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk |
