Ok soooo some of you know i have been wanting to do this project for a while now, im still waiting on custom wheels but i found some plastic ones i can use in the mean time so the build is on. Heres a little history on the truck, Officially this truck is known as the M123A1C Truck Tractor. It was built for the Army as a prime mover. The cab on this truck is the same standard military cab used by the army from Korean War times on, but for the most part the rest of the vehicle is quite different from the more common 2 1/2 Ton and 5 Ton Army trucks. The difference is simply size. http://www.vannattabros.com/truck6.html <--- for more info. heres some 1:1 pics ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() heres what i have done so far, cut the frame from 1" steal square tube and some cab work, the frame is 28.8" long and about 4" wide. I will be using 2.2 outcroppers as they are the closest tire i could find to what i need for this to be a 1\10 truck . onto the pics !!!!!!!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() enjoy!, any questions or comments or ideas or tips very helpful to me. |

I got the driver doorjam started and some more work on the exhaust/ transmission tunnle. ( I had to change a flat on my car today and this plastic thing poped out and I knew it would be perfect for part of the tunnle i couldent figure out how to do! ) also rounded the rear edges of the cab.... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Looks to be progressing nicely! That trailer would be a nice addition. Especially if you built an 8" Howitzer for it as pictured!

Nice man!! I work on M-35s quite a bit, thats one rugged truck for sure. My dad was in the ARMY and went to Viet Nam, he wasnt one bit surprised that theyre still in service.
