Sweet lord!

Soo... is it going to have an anti-personal cannon on the rear or something?!

Thought about it, guess you'll find out the first time you see it...

Naaa, I'd at least give you a warning of some sort...

If I ever go sit there for another two days I'm bringing some frickin rigs or something, man that was actually boring to be there all day..

Did pick up the Homebuilt Heaven award though, so it was all worth it..

The paint is drying on the chassis as I type, hopefully I'll get a chance to bolt her all together tonight and start the rear cab floor/fender area..

I was thinking of doing this exact same build for a while. Glad I never got much further than the thinking stage, this build puts my skills to shame. Love it!

Thanks..

Got to squeeze in a bit of time this weekend, mostly after midnight when the rest of the house was settled down.

Got the body reinstalled and hard mounted.

The glass showed up from Tamiya so I was able to start the interior install. I opted to only install the fronts and quarter windows.

Located the winch and started on the cover. Couldn't come up with anything other then making it look like external controls.

and the spare carrier

on the open side of the rear deck, next to the tool box there will be a tube rack to carry the winching supplies (chain, hooks, snatch block).
The spare tire will also be covered by a tube support and
ordered up some 3/8" aluminum tube and 90º elbows for the stacks..

Also have a few miniature red bulbs coming for the rear tails, thinking about putting one in the winch house and one in the cab..

Looks like I need to make some lift blocks, getting a little front heavy...

Love it. You just need to buy a model Rocket now and mount it to the back with a 3rd or 4th channel to launch it.

If someone would donate a DX6 I'm all over it!! Must have full pan and tilt controls so that would put me at 3 channels just for the rockets..

With the Nomadio I only have one left.
Drive
Steer
Winch
???

I can handle running the lights of an external switch..

and it would have multiple tubes for bottle rockets..
