Cool, but I'm really liking these mini 12v bulbs. Not as bright as LEDs so you get a good scale appearance and small enough to put in a miniature light bucket.

Well now that I finished 4x's jeep, Dinky's order, and rebuilt my Slash and added lights to it, I can finally get back to work on this..

Can't even remember where I left off but here goes....

Ordered up some 3/8" aluminum tube and copper 90* for the stacks, I know a HEMMT doesn't have stacks like these but what the hell, I like them..

Finished off the behind the cab accessories, tow equipment, spare, fuel and whatnot's.

Final mounted the winch and spooled up 60' of 100lb spider wire.. Took about 3 minutes to run it in with the servo..

Decided the winch house needed a little light, installed one red 12v grain of rice light, worked out pretty good.. Still need to finish off the gauges and handles.

Business end...

Also got the radio, went with the Traxxas 2.4g 4ch HO link system. I figured a 4ch 2.4g pistol radio with a 20 model memory and extra receivers for less then $40.00 was a good deal for scalers..

After a bit of testing I found out that the exiting 3 position switch actually controls two different servos actually making it a 5ch radio but in only one direction so using that for a winch in it's out of the box form will not work. I opened the radio up to find that the original 2 position thumb switch was wired just like the TQ3 radios. I pulled the three wires from the 2 position switch and ran them to the 3 position switch and it works as it should now for channel 3. Then I ran the ground and the channel 4 wire to the 2 position switch so it acts as a on off switch, controlling 90* of servo movement or a Piezo switch. I'll pick up another 2 position switch and wire it for channel 5, not sure what I'll do with the 2 aux channels but I figured what the hell, if you can have them why not..

Inside wiring is a mess, but she's a runner..

Light check good....

Now time to start on the bed...

Nice 6x6, one of my favorites builds. Ever think about adding a air cleaner stack to go with the exhaust stacks.

Need to do a bit of suspension work first. Bmuzz scrounged up the front axle for me but it has the wrong outers in it. They are to big and ride the inside of the knuckles, I need to pull them and cut them down on the lathe.. And build some lift blocks, didn't expect the springs to sag that much under the weight.

My god man. You are one hell of a sick ass builder and i dont care if I get in trouble for using potty mouth.

Its just an amazing piece of engineering to the Nth degree that is jaw dropping everytime I look at it. One of these days when i get enough money to make it worth your while. I will have to have you build me that Transformers truck.

I've had my share of trying to solder a dozen wires to a deans plug and
figured this way I can unplug all the accessories without killing the power..
