Yea and now you have to what for the paint and body guy to get his shit done lol. Got some work ahead of me, body is under its final coat of primer right now. Going to work on some small detail stuff for the interior tonight and then the paint will start tomorrow morning.

Harley wasnt even in mind when I was doing the paint work. We wanted to use the CI colors and give it a lil old school hot rod scallop them. The orange is from Valspar Dark Palomino.

The truck was originally suppose to have skinz made for it but a style was never agreed upon. I give credit to Jesse for an outstanding job in a ridiculously short time with NO rendering to work with. Jesse showed his artistry and talent on this cab. He had four colors to work with, orange, silver, black and white. I wanted either old school pin strip over flat black or scallops of some kind. I let the artist work and I like what I see. The cab is huge. Once Jesse got it in hand he was surprised. The interior re-work was all Jesse as well. The 'tongue-in-cheek" comment was based on the black and orange colors and the crown-ish shaped scallop. I'm amazed that any of the parties involved have even found time to photograph and post pics in this build thread. I'll stop distracting everyone and let you guys finish your incredible work. The crown scallop was done free hand and looking at old school scallops online for inspiration and this one seemed to fit the look better. I like to keep update pics going to the customer, it helps them see the process somewhat of my work. Thank you Eddie for the kind words and maybe next time we will have a lil more time please lol. We will work on the rear interior setup more when you get back with the rig, now hurry up and post those pics I sent you lol. |
