No kidding this thing is huge... I just printed the grille for it, and it took up the whole print bed. Just the grill alone is the size of a wraith hood. This is one of the iconic 8x8 builds on this site. I love it! |

FREQESKINZ.com hooked it up on a nice custom Crawler Innovations bed skin. Some sweet "Szczerba Built" decals too. |

I still love this project, but I can't help thinking the paintjob on the cab is out of place. Not that it doesn't look cool, but I feel that it loses some of the 'badass-ness' factor not painted like a 1:1 HET would be. I DO, however, like the bed-vinyl. |

| Re: Szczerba's Tow Rig Thanks for the suggestion but this is not a 1:1 military themed build. This a themed crawler hauler and is a show piece for Crawler Innovations.

Not really a suggestion, just speaking out loud. I wasn't aware that the plan was that from the get-go so I was just surprised.

I never really mentioned the paint theme but I hadn't planned on it being a drab military theme. Jesse and I are meeting up tonight in Texas so I can grab the cab from him and tote this beast to ECSC. The JC Auto Designs printed grill(s) will be waiting on me in PA.

We were trying to stay clear of the usual military style paint and build. This rig is considered to be a crawler hauler and support vehicle to be and massive advertisement for Crawler Innovations. I did what Eddie wanted me to do and give it an old school hotrod style with his colors.

nice! love the billboard bed! how is the tire conformity with the solid closed cells? or is that not a concern as its just a tow rig? |

Little to none but that is ok as this rig is about 22lbs. Ill weigh it once its fully assembled this evening. Standby for final assembly pics. Never was on a chain! If there was a chain it would be attached to a goat that is bumming a ride on the flat bed of this rig. Just sayin'.
