Yesterday I opened my new metal axle from BG to change all the bushings with ball bearings, but find then surprisingly that the axle had ball bearings already.

I have also just purchase two rear metal axle to have at my car, so now all three axle will be in metal.
Weight of the rear one:

Ball bearings there also:

They had missed this bearing for both sides and both axles

I don't know if it just me, but I don't like the stock servo mounting place.
So I starting a small project to have the servo mounted to the axle, just the opposite of what people with SCX10 does... But think it might have worked better with a panhard rod as people with chassis mounted servo uses.

The steering is much stronger and it is more stable than it was when mounted in chassis. I have only tried it indoor at my floor, not tried it outdoor crawling yet.

Yes, just as pictures. Took the pictures seconds after I opened it up.
The stock axles that comes on the car are also greased up like that, transmission too.

are those axle shafts bigger"beefier" then the one on the Axial axle shaft...

Maybe there reason they didn't put those outer bearing,i see 4 already, well 2 bearings and 2 bushings.
If they did forget to put those outer bearings, that's not a good thing..
Anyway regardless i still want one of those HG P601..
Again for 250.00 can go wrong....

bring on more updates....TY.

I looked at these on gearbest.com, but scamadvisor.com lists them as high risk and there are lots of bad reviews. Has anyone tried to purchase one of these from gearbest? Price is good if you actually receive it...

You should have purchase it earlier from BG, when I purchased mine it was free shipping on it.
They sent first one to me that I never got as a register airmail, it was something with the register airmail so they had to ship it with EMS instead, they did not say exactly what.
I would think that EMS shipping is much more expensive and that is why they added that large shipping cost for it.

For the cost it is for the car now, I think it is cheaper to purchase the car in parts instead of complete. Then you also don't have to buy all the parts you will not use anyway. The main problem is to receive a body in usable condition and not damaged.

I wonder if those bad reviews pertain to the HG P601 6x6 only..
Cause they do sell a lot of other products....

The bad reviews I read for Gearbest were not specifically for this truck, just general reviews about the long shipping times, poor customer service and lack of ability to talk to anyone or get anything resolved if there was an issue.

its only $95 RTR on GearBest out of the UK

Site advisor is racist lol anything china or overseas is a high risk.... even though half of car parts are from overseas so I'm guessing everything is high risk.

I'll try and help clear up a couple things here. First, the black bushing is only for keeping the axle from sliding out. It is stuck to the shaft inetead of using a ser screw to hold axle in ring gear. Kinda cheasy but it works. I have a hg p601 I received from gearbest.com. The axles on it are full of bushings are were not greases all that well. I see why all the scam alerts and its not just because their in china. I ordered a hg p402 from them. When i first went to order it was $84 and $99 to ship. One of their reps wanted me to do reviews for them so he sent a coupon for $40 to me so I spent $144 to order it. After 11 days it had not even shipped yet. So after 3 emails a paypal claim and a few days waiting and receiving its all boxed up very nice and ready to ship please wait longer, I got my refund. Maybe I should have waited longet? Wasn't feeling good about it so no. Anyway i get an email that i was shippped to p601 to review please dont cancel oreder (already done) please be patient shipping takes awhile. Well dhl shows pick-up Saturday to deliver thursday. Well it showed up tuesday. 3 day from china to montana? That was fast. Impresed and not. I get a free one to review in 3 days and the one I paid for sits waiting to be shipped for 11 days and cost $99 To ship? Anyway lots of little flaws but lots of very nice ideas with these trucks. Even at the $95 to $102 price and $99 to ship its worth it. If ypu can get it. I have a rolli g review on rctech if ya want to check it out. Its my first time so lots of flaws but 100% honest.

Just want to say great review on the p601 on the rctech forum.
It's to bad nobody wanted to get involved in that change hands idea and signing the truck i know i would have done it,hey maybe you could do it on here I'm sure you would get more people involved cause hey this rc crawler forum.....
Now i really want to pull the trigger and buy this from gearbest.
Would you recommend to buy from gearbest.com

I just went on to bestgear and it ends up at $99 plus $48.18 shipping using the Priority Direct Mail / America Direct mail with claims of 3-7 days. Seriously considering this a a starting 6-wheeler.
