Default first crawler/trail runner

At first i decided to get a gmade r1 but we went out of state and watched some people so trail runs and comp crawling. Wasn't to much interested in comp crawling but I do like light to medium crawling and quite a bit of trail running so I have $550 to spend and was wondering what would be a great rc for what I want I have a charger but another charger wouldn't hurt so my brother has a wraith and I want something atleast as good if not better and if you suggest something could you also suggest tires and upgrades for them

Thanks

you cant really beat the wraith for trailing and just plain fooling around outdoors lol tires and wheels on the rtr are great for that but the kit r35 compound tires are the best for rocks, motor and esc is good for trailing also nothing extreme you can run a 2s lipo on the stock esc, i run a turnigy 3300 mah 40c 2s and its plenty of punch, definitely need a titanium servo a good budget servo is the savox 0251 i have 3 of em in my rigs and you cant go wrong for $40, 222oz of torque @ .13sec its a good tough servo, and definitely aluminum links the axial links kit is great but of course vp titanium links would be the ultimate, alot of guys swear by brushless systems, but a good 35t and under is plenty of speed for trailing and rocks, i personally run a 550 traxxas titan 12t but thats just me $550 is about right to find a very upgraded wraith here on the forum just get your posts up to the quota and you can pick up something pretty tricked out and bulletproof for $550

That's like comparing night and day, ones for rocks and the other for trail, and honestly your better getting one off here my man, most of us don't beat on our stuff I know a baby the hell out of my rig and I've had it a yr not even a scratch maybe some trail riding pin stripes but nothing broken, if you want a brand new one buy one bro that'd your provocative, but in the end you'll be spending double what your gna pay for an upgraded rtr out of the for sale section, and honestly there's some sick stuff for sale for under $550

Consider the scx10 honcho. That truck is one of the best trail rigs out, metal knuckles and c hubs, aluminum links, and your good.

Aluminum chubs, knucks, lockouts, and shocks, other than that wheels and tires, weighted wheels, spring rates, gearing, and thats about it the rest is just personalizing it,

The wraith is a good all around rig. Do what Texas creeper said and you will be top notch.
