FXR Calibration and setting radio end point for steering servo

Issues I'm currently having with my first crawler build...

1. Using a Futaba 4PKS (programmed thanks to Harleys direction here and on YouTube) w/ R614FS receiver, I cannot get the ESC on channel 3 to calibrate. Channel 2 is no issue, but channel 3...no go.
CC BEC is wired to battery wires off ESC and light is on...plugged into channel 4
Both ESC's will calibrate if/when plugged into channel 2.
I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong here? I'm sure it's something simple...I'm just not that smart! lol!

Second question, how do you set the steering servo end points on a 4PKS? I didn't do it, and as I was screwing around trying to figure out the esc issue, I broke/cracked one of the 4 plastic mounts on the servo...to much torque in that Hitec 7990TH...with someone like me playing with it...ouch.

OK, you programmed the radio....to what?? We would assume it's to a dual ESC set-up? Are you sure the 2nd ESC is to go into channel-3? I believe some Futaba radios need the 2nd ESC into channel-4. I believe the Futaba 4PL is one.

Double check the programming and channel call-outs.
