Default xr-10 dual fxr mt-4 wiring question

I've read through a bit on wiring for the xr-10 and dual esc. A lot is referenced on reversing the channel on the radio, etc. I believe I'm know the answer to this but figure I'm better safe than sorry.

Coming from an rc racing background in the distant past (primarily fwd only speedo's), I'm curious what the most ideal wiring method is or if it doesn't matter at all. Wire both speed controls to the appropriate polarity as indicated on the motor (these are not broods), and reverse the rear channel in the radio? or leave everything in the radio alone and reverse the wires on the rear motor?

I don't know if I'd somehow be running on a separate and less powerful circuit of the speed control one way or another and would like to avoid overheating or burning one up if in fact it does matter.

Thanks in advance.

You shouldn't have to reverse polarity on rear motor. Every thing should wire straight up. Pull one red wire from one of the escs going into your rx. (Both if bec is supplying power).

Set mt4 to moa mode and put 50/50 balance on for throttle.

Wiring two esc shouldn't be hard. Remeber that you'll need a bigger channel receiver. Anyways, if you have a reverse problem then reverse the switch or whatever on your radio...that's what I had to do to some of my rigs. I know this may sound weird but check your soldering points and then make sure if the escs are plugged in right. Then check to see if the mottors are wired correctly. Good luck! - axial 4x4 crawler
