Hey guys I just recently picked up an axial scx10 deadbolt rtr. Been in the go fast short course side of the hobby for 6-7 years now. I have a few questions as I'm starting out. What c rating should I run on my lipo? I'm looking to get about 45 minute run times. Been looking at 3s 22000mah batts. Also on the fabrication side of things, what do you guys think about using silver solder from muggy weld.com specifically the solder paste. Ssq-6 I believe is the name. I'm thinking of doing some scale cages etc. |

Welcome. Assuming you mean 2200 mah (not 22000, which would be huge), you should get well over an hour of runtime. I typically get 3+ hours out of a 5000 mah 3s pack. As far as C rating is concerned, it's not as important for crawlers and scalers as it is for go-fast racers. Almost all of my packs are at least 40c with a few 60+ c packs, and I can't say I notice a difference within that range for typical trailing and moderate to challenging rocks. Good luck and enjoy!
