Default Suspension / Shocks question

I'm in the process of mounting a steel tubular Wraith body on on a Scorpion chassis.

There is currently over 2" clearance between the top of the tire and the body and I'd like to reduce that to about 1.25". Also, the existing springs are too stiff and are fully extended with the body in place. My first thought was to replace the existing, 120mm shocks with 100mm, but now I'm thinking I might lower the body by change the springs to introduce 3/4" of droop. I don't even know where to begin figuring out if I need 2 springs on each shock and what sizes to get. Anybody got any suggestions or web sites that can help me out?

Default Re: Suspension / Shocks question

Drop the cage down lower on the frame, get some shorter shocks say around 100-90mm eye to eye is probably good range but you'll have to mock it up after lowering the cage and see what looks right. Shocks should sit about mid-travel or slightly lower at ride height imo.
