Did you have to move all the mini servos, esc, and receiver box to fit?
Was thinking the rc4wd blazer or lc70 Hardbody.... any input is appreciated

I am doing a LC70 and it’s quite a bit of work but will be worth it in the end. Now that spring is here I am probably putting it down till the fall when the weather turns bad again. If you aren’t going to run a full interior you can leave the electrics where they are. I am going to run small battery packs under the hood to move the weight up front. Front inner fenders and the rear shock towers are the 2 things that prevent the body from sitting down. I built my own rear towers and bed cage and cut the bed for the shocks (didn’t want cantilever and it fits the look I am going for. I also built my own front inner fenders. If you run a front battery it frees up some room to move electronics around. I am running a rear spool so that’s one less servo, a WP1080 esc fits under the dash in the firewall area... my goal is to run a knees up interior

For anyone wondering on another option for the trx4 , defender chassis....

... it’s the xtraspeed Jeep 313mm body. Fits on the chassis without cutting the rails. Just fits under. Those are also the large 1.9 BFGs....

There is no one "Best" mod because everyone has different preferences. You need to spend time just reading the various threads and pick what mods appeal to you. It might also help to start your own thread in the TRX4 specific section and read what others have done to their rigs. That said, a very popular ESC upgrade is the HW1080 which actually works very well with the stock TRX4 Titan 21T 550 motor and a 9t pinion.

So has anyone used one of these yet? Thinking on grabbing one for my defender. Pretty heavy ( 2.13 lb)

As you know, I've drooled over that one before lol. ^^^ I may go that route instead... so much lighter than a hard-body and just looks so good. I'd guess that your $ total comes in cheaper too. That Injora is over $70.

Keep in mind that a hardbody will make it much easier to tip over, and you'll scratch the paint on a regular basis.
IF you have the Bronco,Chevy or Sport models the TRX-4 is a 12.3 inch wheelbase. The original Defender and Tacticals run a 12.8 inch wheelbase and will need shorter links. See the information from Traxxas.

Well I got the cage from Ebay, and that was a bargin but the lexan was about $65 as it was with the bed too, but that was the body I wanted - mind you everything is expensive by the time it hits the UK.

Team Raffee Co. 5 Door Rover SUV First Gen 1/10 Hard Body 313mm (12.3") TRC/302550

Got this Range Rover classic hardbody and it just shipped this morning and will be going onto my TRX4. I plan on front mounting the motor to attach an LS engine and have myself an LS swapped Range Rover classic since it'll cost too much to LS swap my FRS.
