Dang it I have to work till 4 tomorrow but have sunday off. Anything going on sunday? LMK as for the 5th I have to work till 2 but I'll be there to help after wards. Wish my schedule was more flexible but its not. BTW Nick thanks for not running me over when you left Dan's today. You had some major tunnel vision going. I even yelled at you and some older couple going into Grandpa Tony's waved. |

Guys, I had a blast today!!!!!!!!!!!! Slashes are sooo cool! It was nice to meet all of you and see some buds that I haven't seen in a while. The onboard camera worked okay, but I didn't get the mounts tight enough, so it ended up tipping down. Still got a few decent shots. It's pretty cool to see the suspension work, and the fender flapping, then falling off. At one point you can see me run over one of the fenders. I edited the video down and put some clips on Youtube. I'll get some more video next time... Here's the clips- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_apKnz00sQQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-HwGEAPeLg Rob |

For those curious - last Saturday most folks showed up with slashes - definitely the most popular and most fun - at least a dozen ! We also had a Traxxas slayer, a few 1/10 2wd electric trucks, a couple 1/8 scale nitro buggys, revo, and a couple 1/8 scale nitro truggies. Next Sunday I'll be bringing a 1/10 nitro 2wd truck to try out. So far, I am very pleased with the wide variety of vehicles that are able to run on this layout. We'll see how things go once we get dirt. I anticipate it will still be fine. Last edited by harleymon; 04-20-2009 at 07:27 PM. |
