nick- gotta stand now huh ? i should be there sunday .
tim- if i recall right my last slash ran good on stock(18p/86s) with vxl on 2s. just enough power/speed .
mike- i got 25spline futaba saver and did trans/camber so slash handles great.plus got my hyper7 back and put .28 axial in(was in savage til blew trans). and of course i did'nt forget bout crawling--i got a scx10 frame set.
time to bogie boys!

Tim,

I was thinking 16/86 and run for 2 minutes and watch motor temp - dont let it get any higher than 150 deg. Or, do the 3 second rule - if you can't hold on to motor for 3 seconds - its too hot. If its too hot, go down 1 or 2 teeth on pinion.

Jay - what you running for pinion - for stock motor and ESC and spur (86t) don't go any higher than 20 tooth pinion. Don't run on 3 cell li-po. Don't run on 8 cell NiMh.

You running stock motor ??

I have a used stock motor for ya if you stop by. I'll make you a deal.

I just traded the TC5 for an SC10. Soon we can compare them with Slashes.
