got some more work done on the mini truck today. moved the steering rack to the front and mounted the lower control arms to a little sub frame thing i made.

here's from above

from below

and from the front

i may have to grind these threads back a bit lol

i just have to make top control arm mounts, steering servo mounts, and setup the 'suspension'

No, his post was a joke relating to the way alot of people in this country see a slammed truck and assume the person driving is a some kind of low life scum bag.

Dont let negative comments discourage you. Theres always going to be people that have something to say about this type of scale build because it isnt some type of lifted 4wd thing.

If you are still in need of a narrower rear axle you might try using one from a Losi Mini Crawler. I remember a similar build last year where the builder was using a Hilux body and solved his narrow axle issue this way.

You could also use a Tamiya Big rig rear axle

a brand new 1/14 scale rear axle from a tamiya semi truck is on its way. nice and narrow, should be able to have some good dish on the rear wheels.
i want the wheel to be as far out as possable without scrubbing. should look pretty cool

Hey now! Jus kidding! The build is back on!

Nice build i like how the front end turned out.

The mini axle worked out good perfect width and already had the fourlink mounts on it.
