True, with a 1/10 on road car the wheel base should only be between 5 and 10 mm out so i might just take tiny bit out of the tray infront of the back wheels. And because they are 190mm wide and this body is only 165mm wide the wheels will poke out nicely and need huge camber to tuck them neatly in the gaurds.
Cutting the tray might motorvate me to give it a new paint job, somethin real nice

Actually how did you stretch the 18mt? That would be easier then cut and shut the body

Very carefully lol......i cut the frame in half then took some kinda thick aluminium plate and bolted it To the cut frame and the body is a 1/10th body for a t/e maxx truck and with the wheels i put on it the whole truck fits in the body and it will have adjustable suspension too i can take pics of it if u wanna see it

Yeah man, picture would be great. Sounds pretty good, easier then trying to shorten my body to suit a 1/10 drift car chassis. Cheaper too. I found a brand new hpi 1/18 truck on ebay for $117aus

That looks mad, what wheels are they? They look like they ate bigger then 1/10 on road wheels. Mine dont fill the guards of my ford body very well

There the big wheels hpi makes. And i havnt gotten to the drive shaft thing yet lol but it will be awd

Oh ok lol. Hopefully ill have a 1/18 beast next week or so and get started.
Ill try and get some brake line and start on the tube chassis for me crawler soon too

Bought a 1/18 4wd truck off ebay. Its all ready to run and hopefully wont take too long to get here so i can start the chopping haha

Will do, its got lots of alloy on it lol. And im thinking of trying to do both. I might have my hydraulic shock sorted but i still want to have the tryes as close to the gaurds as i can get them when its at driving hight

And yeah i couldnt find any used ones, had to go new. Still got if for $150 including delivery but so thats pretty good
