| Lipo battery help
So third run of a venom 3s 5200 mah 50C lipo in a proboat shockwave with an aftermarket esc. 120 amp esc which inhave read can easily handle the 3s. Just ran the boat... about 8-10 mins in i see the boat slow quite quickly. Pulled it back in an opened the boat to find the battery quite warm to the touch and what i thought looked to be "puffed". So put the lipo checkee on and get 3.19 3.23 and 3.21 volts with 1% charge. My question is, can i safely charge this battery again? Looking for advice. Hace left the battery outside in a lipo bag until i know it's safe to try and charge again. Any advice appreciated. Sent from my SM-G935W8 using Tapatalk |

Safe to charge, if you're nervous about it use a lower charge rate (i.e. 2.6A or less). LiPo cells go dead if they drop below 3.0V but just going down to 3.2V shouldn't create any safety issues. |
