The Pack Size is 136 x 42 x 15mm and are $12.32 with out shipping on Hobbyking website, will have to order one and see how it fits both the TA04 and the TA02

And then get a second or 3rd if they fit
Heck yes!!! Nice find!
Let me know how they work and... well send me the link i will probably just get like 3 or 4 myself, those are cheaper than nimh packs!
I actually have a 3s lipo that fits the tt01 and tc3, but thats waaaaay too much juice for a couple of brushed drifters lol

Nice find on those 2s lipos! I will run them in my sons barrage too!

Hey Shinchu

I only have 2 3s Lipo's and they are 5000Mah so they are pretty thick, they fit in my SCX10 and my Team Associated 4x4 Pro SC Truck, with the SCX10, I'm not used to the speed and the amount of wheel spin, and if it can handle 3s

My Pro SC Truck would rip on 3S and be fine, I haven't tried 3s cause I just replaced the fan on the ESC cause on 2s, it ran a little warm but that was because the old fan wasn't spinning constantly and would stop spinning

I want to try it on 2s and see if its cooler and then try 3s later and see what the temps are, it might help, if I add some air flow and ventilation to the body also, its another unfinished side project

"roll down" the windows ;)
that's what i did on my first AE86 body for my nitro RS4. nice and cool when going sideways.

i only plan on going 2s for my drifters. it doesn't take much power for skids.

It only took me maybe a hour to hour and half, to remove both rear leaf springs on my Toyota truck, the hardest part was breaking the bolts loose, once I broke everything loose, the springs came out easy, you can see there flat in the
middle and some of the leafs are bent

Here is the real deal

I called SD Truck Springs and Michigan Truck Springs the only 2 places, I could find that sells OEM Toyota Leaf Springs, other than the Dealer and there not available and when you call both places and ask where there Springs are manufactured

The answer was, I don't know, cause we buy them buy the pallet, and the pallets come XXXXXXX China or Mexico or Canada, then asked if they could get a set from Mexico and was told they pull from what pallet and no guaranty of what country there from

XXXX that I'm supposed to pay them close to $400 and they don't know shit

I took my original Toyota Springs that is a better quality of steel than new OEM Bullshit they tried to sell me

They have been re-arced back to OEM specs and they added a leaf, so now I need longer U-bolts

The place that re-arced my Springs are making me 4 1/2 x 2 5/8 x 6 3/4 square bend U-bolts for $10 a U- bolts

There $18 a piece at Napa and they have to be ordered, they make them and can ship then to me

U can see there no longer flat in the middle and can see they added a leaf

Ordered the U-bolts today and the shackle bushing are coming from Rock auto

So now just got to wait for my parts

I ordered a $100 worth of TT02 parts, I got to wait until the 9th of January, cause there closed until then to order parts from Eagle Racing, and get the shock towers and upper front turn buckles and a set of aluminum bodied shocks for RWD drift TT02

The Spring place called me back and for $12.53 a U-bolt, I went 9/16 x 2 1/2 x 7 1/2 my choices in 9/16'' is 6 1/2 or 7 1/2, I don't think 6 1/2 is long enough and will have to cut the 7 1/2 ones down but will do it so they still thread

I feel bad, my neighbor let me, us his Ascender and it broke something in the rear axles cause, it now clicks and makes a popping noise when rolled forward, doesn't click in reverse but one wheel keeps spinning after you let off the throttle

Thinking the rear diff or locker broke and offered to pay for the parts since, I was using it when it broke, and was told don't worry about it, next time I'm bringing one of my own Crawlers

He let me use his Ascender cause I never used one, I like my SCX10 better

Do you have a link to the battery you found?

This is the one I'm using for round stick packs to fit in Tamiyas: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-...tick-pack.html

There's also this one, but I prefer the one above because I like high C ratings: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/nano-tec...-hardcase.html

Sorry I don't have a link for the 3000 MAH Turnigy Lipo, I need a special sized Lipo for my TA04 S and found the 3000 MAH one

I like the TA04 S, its a nice RC but not a big fan of the front belt running thru the battery tray, cause if you use the wrong sized battery, the belt could cut into the battery and cause a big problem

Tested the 04 with a small 1300 MAH 2S lipo, that I taped to the tray, it's pretty sweet with the 13 turn brushed motor, just want a decent run time

I got my new shackle bushings and my new longer u-bolts and they will need to be cut down, so I bought 2 4 1/2'' cut off wheels the 1/16th thick ones for my grinder, the new nuts are bigger than the old 19mm ones,

Now I need a 1/2 drive 22mm deep impact socket,my local Home Depot has 2 in stock and there less than $6.00, I will go get one tomorrow, if it lasts long enough to tighten and torque 8 u-bolts nuts, I'm good

The nightmare is almost over

Going to mount the springs, then jack the rear end up too the springs and then check the pinion angle before I mount the u-bolts

So that way with the u-bolts uncut, I can add a 2 degree shim if needed cause you need longer u-bolts to add shims too correct the pinion angle

If I'm lucky, the re-arced springs should correct the pinion angle with out shims and have stopped the soft and sagging leaf springs that was part of the problem

Just waiting for a warm day, so don't have to heat the garage
