Did you add the brace in the front? I ordered a brace (recommended on making-tracks.com) but if it already comes with one I won't need it. Where did you order bearings, ebay?

You can put a switch on the red wire to the receiver. That's all a switch in other escs are.

Brace is already there. Yup, bearings off ebay. bout $20 shp'd from the guy in Hong Kong. Not here yet, but he shp'd fast. Thanx for the on/off tip. Rather than a balloon for the rx, I came up with a small plastic box to protect it.

Here it is installed. I haven't had time to put the electronics back in balloons and take it for a spin outside. But it will pull wheelies on the carpet now, haha.

Here is some quick and dirty video off my cell phone, and it is really dark.

Mamba Max 4600kv, 21 tooth pinion with 86 tooth factory spur gear.

How fast do they go right out of the box?
Edmonton winters are pretty long and cold, so a little machine that can easily handle the snow might be just what i need to get me off the couch! lol
I bought a little 2wd onroad buggy and have driven it around my company's warehouse a few times, but it came with slicks, and the floor is so dusty that the car can't get up to full speed, it just spins out.

Out of the box they aren't that quick. I have mine set up with a 27turn Epic stock motor, which would be about the same speed as the stock motor that comes with the kit, and you can see that it's not super fast. But it is still a good speed for a scale look, and it has plenty of torque for going up those steep incline snowbanks.
