Nice granted the video was a little eh, the car always looked amazing. And I hate to say it, but the nitro noise and smoke is pretty fitting for a rally car. I will still make it electric, but I try to stay positive. |

The nitro sound, smell, and sight is very fitting for a rally car! I wish there were more people into it in the US. Hopefully this could be a good start. Monkey Racing always has awesome events and videos of them. RC RALLY - 7th HIGHLAND - YouTube Wish I still had my RS4 Rally Last edited by cbp27; 12-14-2011 at 10:36 PM. |

I wonder if it's the same size as the older Super Nitro's. I still have a few of those. Some cool bodies too. I hope these are the same size that way I can have some new tire choices. Big squidrc has some good pics |

But if you can talk a vendor into making it quick I am all for it. HPI posted information on their website. ::HPI RACING:: - WR8 3.0 There are things that I am just seeing now that make me want it even more, but am very skeptical of the open differential setup in the middle. After all the work of getting the licensing, the rock guards and so on, why would they keep the diff setup open to debris? | ||

If you read the description here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GAWW-FjQa08 it states: When you combine the ultra-tough Bullet 3.0 drivetrain with the true to scale look of the Ford Abu Dhabi WRC team, you get the HPI WR8 3.0: scale realism and awesome nitro power! They have a bullet flux vesion already, so they may offer this in brushless too, and if not just buy the parts from the bulllet flux and convert it yourself. I definately need to get one now. http://www.hpiracing.com/showimage.p...rivetrain4.jpg Last edited by Gula; 12-16-2011 at 10:23 AM. |

Here is a closeup shot of the HPI Bullet ST Flux. So if the WR8 shares the Bullet chassis...they're motor mount might work? Not sure if the WR8 will have the same motor mount holes, but I'm sure that's an easy fix |

Steering is on other side too. It's basically taking over the spot for the RS4 platform. That too had the NItro MT, then the Super nitro rally, then the MT2 and now i looks like it's being retired for this. Cool nontheless I'm excited, but think will just wait for a brushless version instead. I wonder what size the tires/wheels are Super nitro tires are becomming harder to find, these may bea suitablle replacement. Looks like it would work to me. May need the chassis plate.
